Our forensics laboratory is located in Austin, Texas, but we accept cases nationwide.

We have partnered with various computer services and electronics stores to help you get your damaged media to our data recovery lab. See below to find your nearest drop-off location.

NOTE: Please bring your online forms and shipping label printed out to the drop-off center for the fastest service. Digital Forensics customers need to contact the Austin Lab directly for evidence submission.

HARD DRIVE PACKAGING & SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Remove the Hard Disk from the computer. Be sure to touch something metal to ground yourself before handling static-sensitive devices.

Step 2

Place the Hard Drive in an anti-static bag or anti-static bubble wrap.

Step 3

Place the disk in a box with at least 2″ of foam or packing material on all sides to prevent damage during transit.

Step 4

Seal the box securely and mark FRAGILE on the box. Always send via Next Day Air when possible. Please include your Data Evaluation form in the box.
